Warranty

DETAILS OF THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY:

• This warranty covers any VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES that have been supplied by VALENTINO STONE.
• This limited warranty covers products that have been maintained in full compliance with the VALENTINO STONE SURFACES CARE AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
• This warranty takes full responsibility for the material itself, before any fabrication is performed on the VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SLAB.
• This warranty only covers the quartz material supplied by VALENTINO STONE.
• This warranty is valid for fifteen years from the date of installation.
• This warranty is valid only when the customer provides the fabricator’s invoice which shows the date of installation.

WHAT THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

• This limited warranty is non-transferable and does not cover claims made by subsequent owners of the home in which VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES have been installed if the original client is no longer the owner of the residence.
• Cracks that occur due to thermal shock from the use of crock pots, skillets or other hot items placed directly on VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES are not covered by this warranty.
• Caution: Do not use crock pots, skillets or other hot items directly on your VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES. Always place them on a trivet or cutting board to protect your VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACE from thermal shock.
• This limited warranty does not cover defects caused by improper fabrication or improper installation. VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES are intended to have a natural and non-uniform appearance, thus this limited warranty does not cover any variances in color, shade or particle structure.
• This limited warranty does not cover any additional or supplemental repairs or modifications such as, for example, any plumbing, electrical, tile or wall surface modifications that may be necessary to repair or replace the VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES product covered under this limited warranty; such other repairs and modifications shall be the responsibility of the customer.
• This limited warranty does not cover products that have not been paid for in full.
• This limited warranty does not cover products exposed to abnormal use or conditions, or abuse in any way. “Abnormal use or conditions” includes, but is not limited to, damage from mishandling or misuse, damage from excessive heat, scorching or exposure to weather conditions, exposure to ultraviolet light, physical or chemical abuse, acid etching, damage from improper care and maintenance or damage from chipping, cracking, scratches, impact damage or breaking due to customer abuse.
• This warranty does not cover the following:
  • Outdoor uses of VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES
  • Cover Floor Uses of VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES
  • Seam Performance of VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES
• This limited warranty does not cover products that you, the customer, decide you do not like after installation due to color, edging styles or other opinions based on personal preference.
• This limited warranty does not cover temporary marks on the VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES including but not limited to metal marks, fingerprints or smudges or other temporary marks made by household utensils. VALENTINO STONE is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or in part by acts of nature, job site conditions, architectural and engineering design, structural movement, acts of vandalism, or accidents.

RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE:

This warranty covers VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES that have been maintained according to the following recommendations:

• Clean all spills immediately. To clean the surface, use a gentle general pH-balanced house cleaner or regular soap and water and a cloth before thoroughly rinsing and drying.
• Do not use any chemical sealant products as they will void this warranty. The recommendations for properly maintaining VALENTINO STONE QUARTZ SURFACES are not limited to the above recommendations.
